3 simple steps to your project installation
1. Book a free planning appointment
Our end-to-end service starts with an in-store or online planning appointment, where we match you with a local installer who suits you and your needs. All our installers are fully vetted and DBS checked to ensure your peace of mind.
2. Get a quote and book your chosen installer
Your chosen local installer will visit you to complete a survey^ of the project. They will check the design work within your space and provide a detailed installation quote. Once you are happy with your design, you can book your delivery and installation dates with one of our showroom advisors.
3. Getting your project installed
Our two person team will deliver your order, ready for your chosen installer. Our showroom advisor will keep in touch between delivery and installation to make sure everything is on track, and on the day of installation your installer will arrive ready to assemble and install your new kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.

Booking an installation is easy. At your planning appointment we will discuss any installation needs and will match you with a local installer who suits you and your requirements. Your installer will visit you at home to survey your project and they will provide you with a detailed quote. Once you are happy you can book the installation with your showroom planner at a date that is suitable for you and the installer.
This will depend on your area and the size of your project. Your showroom advisor will be able to give you a more detailed view at your planning appointment.
Your survey has a chargeable fee of £50.00, which is fully refundable should you proceed with an installation with one of our approved installers.
B&Q take safety and compliance very seriously. All of our approved installers have been rigorously checked and vetted including public liability insurance and DBS so you can rest-assured your installer has all the required certification and know-how to complete your project.
Yes. We provide a workmanship guarantee which covers failures in the workmanship of installation only for two years on condition that the installation has been used for the purpose for which it is intended and in line with all applicable cleaning, care and maintenance requirements as set out in the relevant user/instruction manual/s. So if you've talked to one of our advisors, know what you want and how much it's going to cost, you can also decide to hand over the hassle of removing your old kitchen, bedroom or bathroom and installing the new.
Our stores partner with local, friendly, trusted installers, and we'll pair you with the best person for the job.
Once you've made your selection, our local installer will arrange to come to your home, do a survey, and we'll send the results back to B&Q. Your B&Q advisor will be in touch with the survey report and to chat through any adjustments to the plan. After that, all you need to do is finalise the order online or in store.
We'll make sure you know what to expect and we'll let you know exactly when they're coming once you've placed your order. We'll also give you a courtesy call one week beforehand as well as on the first day of your installation to make sure everything is going fine. So you can put your feet up and watch while your dream space becomes a reality.
When the job is done, our local installer will walk through with you in detail and make sure everything on the checklist is complete. All that's left is a follow-up call from your in-store advisor to make sure you're completely happy with your new space.
We provide a two-year workmanship guarantee in addition to any product guarantees for peace of mind.
